Delivery & Returns

 

The following applies to the Trail Gift Shop.  Items purchased via links to other shops will have their own Delivery & Return guidance.

 

Delivery

Delivery to the UK is FREE.

Delivery to Europe and the Rest of the World - Postage & Packing prices are based on the weight of the items in the shopping basket.  Delivery to Europe begins at £3.50 and delivery to the Rest of the World begins at £4.50. 

All items stocked in the Trail Gift Shop are usually dispatched within 3-5 working days.

A certificate of posting will be kept for all items posted.

For the purposes of reporting lost items, the due delivery date is the 5th working day from dispatch. 

For postage within the UK, items sent by 2nd Class and Royal Mail Signed For™ are not classed as lost until 15 working days (Mon - Sat) after the due delivery date.

For International postage, items sent by Airmail are not classed as lost until 20 working days (Mon – Sat) after the due delivery date for items going to Europe and after 25 working days for Rest of the World.

For items posted in the Christmas period (first Monday in December to the first working day following the New Year public holiday) a further working day (2 working days for redirected mail) will be added to the due delivery day.

Returns

In the EU, you have the right to cancel your online purchase within seven working days.  This seven-day “cooling off” period begins on the day when you receive your purchase.  You can choose to cancel your order for any reason within this timeframe – even if you simply changed your mind.

If you want to make a return to the Trail Gift Shop, please contact us as soon as possible by email sales@nationaltrailshop.co.uk with your details.

Goods must be returned to us unused and in a saleable condition - as good as new.

The return address is Trail Gift Shop, 39 Housesteads Gardens, Longbenton, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE12 8WQ.

It is advisable for you to retain a proof of posting.

Once we've received the returned item(s) we will process a refund or arrange an exchange.

If the item is faulty or damaged or we have sent the incorrect item we will refund postage. If you're returning something because it's not suitable, you'll need to pay the postage costs to return it to us.

Your return will be dealt with within 7 working days.
